Although we will continue to have leader meetings (Next one is Oct. 14th, 6pm, classroom 2). I'd like to try a couple things to provide more connection; this blog is one and a monthly email is the other. Let me know what you think.
I'm always available to meet with group leaders and I tend to hangout at the info table in the oasis before and after the Sunday services.
Regarding the Blog:
I'd like to see this blog used as a forum between leaders. I'll post and read it regularly, but a great deal of the value will come from leaders sharing with each other.
Some things to share:
- Blessings and things God is doing in your group
- Frustrations, dealing with difficult group members (no names please), burnout, etc.
- Studies you'd recommend
- Studies you'd not recommend
- Questions
- Anything else you think of

Science and the Bible is up and running again. We meet at 7 PM on Thursday evenings. 664-3591
I am glad to see that the training will be an ongoing thing. I am interested in giving my skills a little lift. Thanks for that, and glad also to see that there will be meetings for leaders too, maybe to throw around some stuff.

Just wanted to send a quick note out to the other Link groups. The TRF pantry was worried that they would have to close early on a weekend, because they were running very low on supplies. Our link group has a lot of fun once a month putting together supplies for the pantry. Great time for fellowship and a nice break from the study.
I know meeting during the holiday season can be hard. For us the encourgement and fellowship made the holidays less stressful and more enjoyable. Well worth juggling our busy schedules around link group night. We pray the season finds everyone spiritually fruitful.
